After moving to Indianapolis, a Texas man allegedly sent the Indiana Fever star a slew of messages on social media, leading to his arrest for stalking Caitlin Clark.
Texas resident Michael Lewis, 55, was taken into custody at an Indianapolis motel on Sunday after authorities claimed he traveled more than 1,000 miles to get closer to Clark.
Authorities in Indianapolis originally contacted Lewis on January 8 after learning that a string of ominous messages targeting Clark were coming from IP addresses while he was lodging at a hotel on N. Market Street, according to Fox59 News anchor Angel Ganote.

Michael Thomas Lewis, 55, of Denton, Texas, is charged with one count of stalking threatening sexual battery or death, a Level 5 felony. He was arrested on Sunday.
