Michelle Y. Peters Charged With Adding Roundup to Her Husband’s Mountain Dew

A woman was detained by Laclede County, Missouri, deputies on suspicion of adding Roundup to her husband’s Mountain Dew. Michelle Y. Peters, 47, is accused of armed criminal action and first-degree domestic violence.According to investigators, Peters frequently mixed the Roundup product into her husband’s Mountain Dew between May and June. It is also said that she put pesticide in his drink to spike it.When he started feeling sick, the man started to believe something was amiss with his drink, investigators said. Law authorities received security footage from the victim showing Peters tampering with the Mountain Dew in the garage refrigerator. Peters allegedly admitted to detectives that she had drugged her husband’s drink because she had planned his 50th birthday and he had not expressed gratitude.
