Motorcycle Cop Injured In Road Incident

Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) emergency personnel responded to a road collision report at La Feuille, Monchy on Friday and found an adult male sitting at the roadside awaiting ambulance assistance. Individuals on the scene said a motorcycle cop’s bike and a black Mercedes Benz car had collided. “The bike landed in a deep gully near the side of the road. The officer was conscious and was attended to by EMS and other police officers,” an eyewitness told St. Lucia Times. SLFS responders said they found that the victim had sustained minor abrasions. They treated him and transported him to a medical facility for additional care. “He’s okay,” a police source told St. Lucia Times. Gros Islet Police Station officers are investigating the incident.
