A motorcyclist sustained injuries, including a leg fracture, after a fiery collision at Rodney Bay.
Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) emergency personnel from the Gros Islet fire station rushed to the scene after receiving a call for assistance at about 3:18 am on Saturday.
They learned that the motorcyclist heading North collided with a Toyota Belta as it exited the Rodney Bay gap near the CIBC First Caribbean building.
As a result of the collision, the motorcycle and the car burst into flames.
The emergency responders treated the motorcyclist at the scene and transported him to a medical facility for further care.
Earlier, at about 12:17 am, a man sustained what appeared to be minor injuries after an SUV and a car collided at Choc.
SLFS responders transported the victim to the OKEU Hospital after providing emergency medical aid.
The victim was in stable condition at the time.
