From June 6 to 16, Montreal’s MURAL Festival will again put on giant display a diverse palette of world-renowned and local visual and musical artists and groundbreaking immersive and interactive experiences.
In keeping with its tradition, this 12th edition of the Festival will focus primarily on the creation of large-scale urban artworks and various artistic installations on and around Boulevard Saint-Laurent, which will be pedestrianized for the 11 days of the event thanks to the support of the Société de développement du boulevard Saint-Laurent. A host of free activities and numerous terraces and shops await festivalgoers on “The Main”.
“Every year, we passionately strive to introduce artistic innovations that not only captivate but also enrich our community,” stated Pierre-Alain Benoît, general manager of the Festival. “This year is no exception. With world-renowned artists and innovative projects, we’re confident that our festival will continue to push back the boundaries of urban art. By transforming our city into a veritable open-air museum, and with an equally captivating musical program, we hope to offer our visitors an artistic experience that is as immersive as it is memorable.”
