The Downtown Detroit Partnership (DDP) has made a decisive step toward that vision with a pivotal update to its Board of Directors. This week, DDP welcomed influential leaders to its board while honoring the dedication of retiring members who shaped the city’s progress. The announcement also marked a significant leadership shift as Robert G. Riney, president and CEO of Henry Ford Health, assumed the role of Vice Chair. Riney assumes the role following the retirement of Daniel J. Loepp, president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, who has been a longstanding and impactful member of the board. In addition to Riney’s new role, five prominent local leaders have joined the board. Each brings valuable expertise to the organization’s mission to create a vibrant and thriving downtown Detroit.
