WASHINGTON (TNND) — Former President Barack Obama on Monday applauded Vice President Kamala Harris’s plan to offer 1 million forgivable loans to Black entrepreneurs, claiming the move will help these individuals “build wealth.” The Harris campaign announced the plan via its website Monday, explaining the loans could reach as high as $20,000 in value. The release also included a “National Health Equity Initiative” specifically targeting Black men and touted the Harris campaign’s support of legalizing marijuana and lowering rent prices.
