It is with great sorrow that we announce the tranquil passing of Ronald D. Holloway, a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, uncle, veteran, and dear friend. A proud member of the United States Air Force, Ronald exemplified discipline and valor, qualities he retained throughout his lifetime. After his military tenure, he enjoyed a distinguished career with the Pittsburgh Port Authority, earning respect for his integrity and leadership. Beyond his career, Ronald was a person of remarkable character. He mastered Japanese swordsmanship (Kenjutsu), attained a 6th Dan black belt in Aikido, and was a skilled Reiki practitioner and instructor, mentoring numerous individuals with compassion and wisdom. Ronald is survived by his sons—Jeffrey, Hakeem, and Ronald—and his brother Douglas, alongside many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His spirit and teachings will forever resonate with those he touched. Visitation at Coston Funeral Home, 427 Lincoln Ave, is scheduled for Friday, 5/23, from 4-8 PM, followed by funeral services on Saturday, 5/24, at 11 AM.
