Though he’s prohibiting government agencies from marking Black History Month, President Trump on Thursday held an event at the White House celebrating the traditional monthlong commemoration though he ended up largely celebrating his election win and plans for a National Garden of Heroes.
At one point, the president informed the crowd that he won a higher percentage of Black voter support in 2024 than any other Republican presidential candidate (in 48 years … he left out that last part).
