Today is Giving Tuesday and the start of our annual fundraising drive.& I hope you will consider donating to FactCheck.org and joining our mission to combat misinformation and to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics. FactCheck.org, a project of the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center, has been fact-checking for more than two decades. We provide you with in-depth stories and features that shine a light on the most important public policy issues of our time.& Over the course of the last presidential campaign, we fact-checked five Republican primary debates, three general election debates, eight nights of Republican and Democratic conventions, and numerous TV ads, town halls and speeches.  With your support, we can continue to hold politicians of both parties accountable for what they say and do.& Our SciCheck team also wrote a three-part series on independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and his false and misleading health claims on such issues as vaccines, autism and COVID-19.
