Florida Man Fires 17 Shots at Woman Mistakenly Entering His Driveway

A Florida man has been arrested after allegedly firing more than a dozen rounds at a woman who mistakenly visited his residence while searching for a friend’s house within the same neighborhood. Roman Rawicki, a 50-year-old resident, faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, false imprisonment, and using a firearm in a residential area. As detailed in an arrest affidavit from the Miami Herald, the victim informed Palm Bay Police she accidentally arrived at Rawicki's home around 10 p.m. on August 31 while navigating to her friend’s place for the first time. Upon realizing her error, she began retreating to her vehicle. Investigators state that Rawicki assaulted her, pinning her arm behind her back. As she screamed for assistance, her friend rushed to help. After throwing her to the ground, Rawicki retrieved a firearm, commencing gunfire as the victims fled in their car. Authorities later discovered 17 shell casings outside his home.
