Throughout my academic journey, I encountered persistent challenges from White males, often dismissing my insights and theories. This phenomenon, termed 'Dred Scottification,' illustrates how scholars of color face systemic barriers. My experiences highlight the need for awareness and change in predominantly White academic institutions, fostering an environment that truly values diverse voices.
