Police Appeal For Information After Two Latest Homicides

Saint Lucia police have appealed for information from the public as they investigate the Island’s two latest homicides. On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at about 3:10 pm, Criminal Investigation Department, Castries officers responded to a homicide at Crownlands, Castries. The officers encountered one male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. A medical practitioner at the scene pronounced the victim, identified as Brinattos Stephen of Bruceville, Vieux Fort, dead. Shortly after, at about 5:17 pm, investigators discovered another deceased male with apparent gunshot wounds. He has been identified as Shawn Paul of Black Street, Micoud. Investigations are ongoing into the shootings. The police have said that anyone with information regarding the homicides could anonymously call 555 (the Crime Hotline) or use the Police Crime Hotline Application, available in the Google Play Store.
