On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, about 5:45 a.m. Police Officers attached to the Babonneau Police Station, responded to a homicide at Talvern, Babonneau. The body of an unresponsive male victim was discovered with an apparent laceration to the head. Upon further examination, it was noted that the victim’s left leg was severed. The victim was later pronounced dead on the scene by a medical practitioner. The deceased has been identified as Abraham Charles Rose a sixty- three (63) year-old resident of Talvern, Babonneau.
