Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday at Corinth, Gros Islet.
According to reports, a thirty-one-year-old man sustained a single gunshot injury to his buttocks.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not clear.
However, the victim complained of numbness in his lower body.
A video on social media showed a man on his back while someone off-camera announced that they had summoned an ambulance.
Emergency personnel from the Gros Islet fire station responded after receiving a distress call at about 8:00 pm and transported the injured man to the OKEU Hospital.
He was stable throughout the journey.
