The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has ramped up operations in the Marc community in response to a worrying spike in gun violence and the reported presence of illegal firearms. As part of these efforts, officers from a Special Operations Team conducted a targeted search in a densely vegetated area of Marc, Bexon, on Thursday around 5 p.m. The operation led to the discovery of a Glock 9×19 pistol with its serial number removed. The firearm, equipped with an auto sear, was capable of fully automatic fire.
