Primrose schools across Indianapolis donated 10,057 canned goods to local organizations on a mission to feed families this holiday season.   They collected donations for various charities including The Caring Center, Delaware Township Food Pantry, Gleaners Community Food Bank, Good Samaritan Network of Hamilton County, Kids in Crisis Johnson County, Lawrence Church of God and Merciful Help Center.   RELATED: Indiana preschoolers donate $3,750 to support cancer patients  Primrose’s Caring & Giving initiative encourages children to complete age-appropriate household chores for allowance money to buy canned goods.& & “Nurturing generosity in young children is an investment in the future of our society,” said Jo Kirchner, CEO of Primrose Schools.& & “At Primrose Schools, we believe that teaching children the value of giving, sharing and caring is a cornerstone of early education.
