President Alicia Reece launches youth employment

Contributed (Hamilton County, OH) – Hamilton County Commission President Alicia Reece, founder of the 513Relief Bus initiated a successful launch of Hamilton County’s new Office of Youth with a special countywide Employment Day in collaboration with the 513Relief Bus on Saturday April 13th at the Evanston Recreation Center. President Alicia Reece introduced the county’s first-ever Office of Youth, drawing over a thousand youth and parents who lined up around the building, sidewalks, and filled the parking lot to apply for youth employment opportunities and enroll in the county’s new youth program. Hamilton County’s Youth and Employment Day provided a one-stop shop of free services, including employment opportunities for individuals ages 14 to 21, work physicals, birth certificates, scholarships, as well as enrollment in training and certification programs, among other services.
