In a significant revelation during his End of Year address, President Museveni disclosed that he recently held a meeting with renowned artist Eddy Kenzo.  The president conveyed that he was briefed by Kenzo on critical issues concerning copyrights and broader reforms to enhance the efficiency of the entertainment industry. During the address, President Museveni stated, “There’s a boy called Eddy Kenzo, who came and briefed me about their issues. The government will help them to protect their innovations. Despite challenges, the sector thrives due to prevailing peace.”  This acknowledgment signifies a proactive stance by the government in addressing the concerns of artists and fostering an environment conducive to the growth of the entertainment sector.
