Trailblazing Women Celebrated: 24 Honorees Shine at NCNW's Annual Legacy Awards Luncheon in Rankin/Mon Valley/Pittsburgh

On Saturday, March 22, Stratigos Banquet Center in North Huntingdon hosted the NCNW's 12th Annual Legacy Awards Luncheon, attended by nearly 500 guests. This year, 24 remarkable women over 80 were honored for their devotion to service and community empowerment. Themed “Standing on the Past, Preparing for the Future,” the event celebrated their profound impact. Keynote speaker Pennsylvania Second Lady Blayre Holmes Davis emphasized the importance of Black women’s leadership. The afternoon was further highlighted by a $1,000 scholarship awarded to Oluwatobiloba Olaore, a promising student from Pittsburgh CAPA.
