Aliquippa JHS Football Team Recalls Terrifying Bus Crash: Broken Collarbones and One Girl's Critical Condition

In a heartbreaking incident that has reverberated throughout the sports community, a bus carrying over two dozen middle school students from Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, crashed on Saturday, August 23. This devastating event resulted in injuries to 21 students and the driver. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported. It has been stated that the vehicle, which was transporting the Junior High School football team, ended up on its side after losing control. A GoFundMe campaign initiated by Robert Gilbert aims to support a player named Noni, who suffered severe injuries and was reportedly thrown from the bus. All contributions will assist her mother during this challenging time, allowing her to focus on her daughter's recovery. The police chief, Michael O’Brien, confirmed the crash occurred around 9:55 a.m. on a hazardous stretch of road.
