Born on January 25, 1985, in Busoga, Uganda, Mowzey Radio’s love for music was evident from an early age.
After completing his studies at Makerere University, he pursued his passion for music full-time, eventually partnering with Douglas Mayanja, popularly known as Weasel. Together, they formed the iconic duo Radio and Weasel under the Goodlyfe Crew, and their unique blend of Afrobeat, reggae, and dancehall quickly captured the hearts of many.
Radio’s smooth, soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics distinguished him as one of the most talented vocalists and songwriters in Uganda’s history.
His music touched on themes of love, hope, struggle, and everyday life, making his songs relatable to people from all walks of life.
