SAFAREE SAMUELS BLAMES ERICA MENA FOR INCOME LOSS, SEEKS CHILD SUPPORT REDUCTION

Safaree Samuels has taken steps to modify his child support payments to his ex-wife Erica Mena. According to documents obtained by In Touch, Safaree filed a petition in Georgia court in June 2023, explaining that their divorce settlement reached in 2022 already covered all key issues, including custody of their two children and a monthly child support payment of $4,305. Safaree’s petition highlights significant changes in his circumstances since the divorce, particularly regarding his income and parenting time. He stated that he no longer earns the $61,157 monthly income previously reported and pointed out that he has been spending more time with the children—averaging three to four weeks of physical custody each month. Safaree’s lawyer argued, “Specifically, [Safaree] has greater parenting time exceeding the prescribed 12 days.
