Salvation Army launches $100,000 Red Kettle Donation Match

The Salvation Army of Central Indiana calls on the community to double their generosity this holiday season. The initiative, known as the $100,000 Kettle Match, amplifies contributions during the final stretch of the holiday season. With the match in place, a $20 donation turns into $40, extending the impact of each gift.From Dec. 18-24, Christmas Eve, every dollar donated to a physical Red Kettle or through the Virtual Red Kettle will be matched dollar-for-dollar, thanks to the support of local donors.These contributions help the organization reach its $3.6 million Christmas campaign target. The funds ensure vital programs such as food assistance, shelter and family support services can continue year-round.
