A scooter rider was in stable condition at the OKEU Hospital after a collision with a car on the John Compton Highway on Wednesday.
The incident occurred near Lazarus Funeral Home.
Emergency personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) headquarters in Castries rushed to the scene with a fire truck, and an ambulance from the Babonneau fire station joined them after learning of the collision at about 11:04 am.
The 27-year-old scooter rider sustained abrasions on his right forearm and was complaining of pain in the lower back.
The responders provided emergency care before transporting him to the Hospital.
