Sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson recently confronted her domestic violence arrest in a social media video, extending a heartfelt apology to her boyfriend Christian Coleman.On Monday evening, Richardson shared the video across her Instagram, admitting she found herself in a "compromised situation." The following morning, she expressed her regret in writing to Coleman.“I love him, & I cannot apologize enough,” the reigning 100-meter world champion emphasized in capital letters on Instagram, stressing that her contrition “should be as loud” as her previous “actions.”“To Christian, I love you & I am profoundly sorry,” she conveyed.Richardson's arrest occurred on July 27 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for an alleged assault involving Coleman. She spent over 18 hours at South Correctional Entity in Des Moines.She shared her commitment to "self-reflection," opting "to face everything that comes" her way directly.According to the police report, disturbances were reported by a Transportation Security Administration supervisor, leading to an officer reviewing footage documenting the incident involving Richardson and Coleman, the 2019 world 100-meter champion.
