It’s that time again — time to visit your favorite Shreveport-Bossier area Black-owned restaurants or find some new ones.     The Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce’s Shreveport-Bossier Black Restaurant Week will be held Oct. 20-26. This celebration will feature more than 17 restaurants and bars offering special menu items and curated experiences for food lovers across the region. The Chamber hopes to stimulate economic impact in the local restaurant industry for Black-owned businesses and raise awareness for these businesses.  “The impact of supporting Black-owned restaurants and chefs during Black Restaurant Week goes beyond just enjoying a meal. It’s about empowering our community, celebrating our culture, and contributing to the growth of businesses that are the backbone of our economy.
