SLSWMA Announces Holiday Waste Collection Arrangements

The Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority (SLSWMA) wishes to inform the public that there will be no waste collection on Monday, 25 December 2023 (Christmas Day) and Monday, 1 January 2024 (New Year’s Day). Households who usually receive a Monday collection will receive the service one day before or after Christmas and New Year’s Days. Additionally, the Tuesday collection scheduled for most communities in the Northern part of the island is rescheduled to Wednesday, 27 December 2023 and Wednesday, 3 January 2024, with the exception of Moulin A Vent, La Feuille, Caye Mange, La Riviere Mitant, and Monchy Central. Residents are asked to pay attention to announcements over the media, the Facebook page or through Instagram for the revised collection dates. The Deglos Sanitary Landfill and the Vieux-Fort Solid Waste Management Facility will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
