SPORTS HISTORY IN BLACK: Donovan Mitchell scores 51 points during NBA Playoffs

The 2020 NBA Playoffs were unprecedented. All teams were flown to Orlando and there was no audience because of the coronavirus pandemic.
But just because there were no basketball fans doesn’t mean there was no memorable basketball. Guards Donovan Mitchell and Jamal Murray treated the public to one of the best guard matchups in recent playoff history as the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets faced each other.

Both Mitchell and Murray were unstoppable. Murray would score 50 points while trying to lead the Nuggets to a win. But Mitchell would top him with 51 points as the Utah Jazz would win 129- 127 in Game 4 on Aug. 23, 2020.
