The St. Lucia Football Association Inc. continues its development of Coaches and Coaching Education, when it hosts its 5th C LICENCE Course from Friday 15th  December to Monday the 18th at its headquarters in La Clery. This Course will be held for Head Coaches of  District Teams as well as clubs in the first and second Division….Special inclusion has been made for coaches who are running the SLFA’s Elite Zonal Centres. The significance of this course is that it will be used as an audit, so that CONCACAF can make a determination as to whether St. Lucia is ready to host its own C-LICENCE Coaching Course. St. Lucia has since submitted its letter of intent to CONCACAF as well as all other necessary documentation that is required. Interestingly, two of SLFA’s Coach Educators, Technical Director Ces Podd and Head of Coach Education, Mr. Emmanuel Bellas, recently attended the 1st CONCACAF COACH EDUCATION CONFERENCE from December 12- 13 in Miami. Much of the discussion at that conference was specific to preparation of the Member Associations readiness to sign onto the Coaching Convention.
