Arrest Made in Connection with Dennery Stabbing: Updates on the Investigation

A man is currently in police custody following a brutal stabbing episode in Dennery that occurred last Thursday. The suspect, who is employed by a local utility company, was reportedly on duty until his apprehension, as revealed by sources involved in the investigation. Witnesses and the victim quickly identified the alleged perpetrator after the attack; however, there was a notable delay from the Dennery Police in launching an inquiry and making an arrest. The victim, a woman embroiled in a domestic conflict with her boyfriend, accused him of inflicting multiple stab wounds and issuing threats to her life. Following the assault, she reported the incident at the Richfond Police Station before being transported to Dennery Hospital and later to the Owen King EU Hospital for urgent surgical intervention. She currently remains in intensive care. Notably, the suspect continued to perform his work duties until his arrest in Babonneau on Tuesday.
