A Stafford man’s personal artwork has earned him seven misdemeanor charges in Fredericksburg, police said. City police spokeswoman Sarah Morris said Officer Gregory Baugher went to the general district and circuit court building on Princess Anne Street in response to a complaint about graffiti. Several fresh graffiti tags were on the building, and throughout the day Baugher found several similar tags on other properties in the downtown area and elsewhere. Those included an exterior door at Sedona Taphouse on William Street, the Winchester Street parking garage, two electrical boxes, along with a clothing donation box and a storage shed in the 1700 block of Carl D. Silver Parkway. Baugher shared video footage from the courthouse with other officers, and an off-duty officer working at Wegmans saw the suspect enter the store. The suspect was identified as 29-year-old Antonia D. Perrin of Stafford, who was already wanted in another locality.
