One teen is dead, and another person was injured after being discovered at a Downtown Chicago bank parking lot.& Witnesses told ABC7 Chicago that on Saturday night, hundreds of young people gathered in the South Loop area where the shooting occurred in the 500 block of West Roosevelt Road near Canal Street. When officers arrived at the scene of the shooting, they discovered two individuals who were shot. Both were transported to Stroger Hospital and initially listed in critical condition.& According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, one of the victims, a 17-year-old teen named Jeremy Smith, died from his injuries.
