Three men were apprehended and charged in connection with the assault of a man and his disabled son, who were in distress following a car breakdown. The incident occurred on October 26 outside Mariscos Yucatan, a seafood restaurant situated in northwest Houston, Texas. Reports indicate that the father began knocking on the establishment's doors seeking assistance when three men emerged, opting to attack rather than offer help.Surveillance footage allegedly captures the assailants delivering punches and kicks to the father’s face. When the son, who has cerebral palsy, attempted to intervene, one attacker forcibly struck him, sending him to the ground. Both victims reportedly endured facial and arm injuries. Among the defendants, Isidro Velasquez faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, accused of retrieving a firearm during the melee. His bond was set at $40,000 after a court hearing. Gustavo Rojas and Jaime Dominguez have been charged with injury to a disabled person, despite claims of ignorance regarding the son’s condition. The restaurant has not disclosed whether the suspects remain employed.
