Investigators Say Texas Woman’s Change Of Heart Ended In Unthinkable Crime

Texas officials are investigating the motives behind a tragic incident involving 39-year-old Jessica Quintana, who allegedly attempted to murder her three children before taking her own life last month. Reports from local news outlets indicate that Quintana has been charged with numerous felonies related to this attempted murder-suicide case.On September 29, emergency responders were dispatched to Quintana's remote property, where they discovered her submerged alongside her unresponsive children, aged 15, 11, and 6. Authorities learned Quintana had given her children a lethal concoction of tequila and NyQuil prior to entering the water.Only the 11-year-old was found critically injured, while the others were conscious but distressed. Their father, Domingo Quintana, managed to rescue them. Investigations revealed that Jessica had planned an escape from home but resorted to this act when it failed.
