Frontier Airlines Attendant Asks Passenger to Change 'See-Through' Shorts During Flight

A Frontier Airlines traveler captured her unsettling interaction with a flight attendant demanding she change her shorts mid-flight or face law enforcement consequences. TikTok user Nereidaa (@90sbabygirl) shared a series of now-viral clips detailing the confrontation. In the first video, the flight attendant, identified as Katie, states, “I don’t racially profile at all,” as tensions escalate. Nereidaa questions why her outfit was targeted when other passengers wore comparable attire and references Frontier’s dress code, which prohibits see-through clothing. Katie interrupts, claiming Nereidaa’s shorts are transparent. As the disagreement proceeds, Katie contacts another crew member, alleging harassment and states the passenger must change to avoid flight cancellations. Despite being told to change, Nereidaa asserts her clothing is acceptable and boards without issue. Once airborne, Katie again presses her to change, resulting in Nereidaa being warned she could face legal repercussions. Ultimately, she complied by putting on a second pair of shorts but was not approached by police post-landing. Frontier has since expressed regret regarding the incident and is investigating.
