Three Black Leaders Appointed to Administrative Roles at Universities

Kweli Zukeri has been named assistant vice president of web innovation and strategy at Howard University in washington, D.C. He first joined the the university’s staff in 2010 and has since held several roles in web development over his nearly 15-year tenure. He also currently serves as an inaugural member of the university’s Presidential Artificial Intelligence Council.
Dr. Zukeri is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he majored in journalism and mass communication. He holds a master’s degree in psychology and a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from Howard University.
Kevin Nesfield has been appointed interim athletic director at Florida Memorial University. For the past three years, he has served as the university’s senior associate athletics director for student success and compliance. He previously served as the associate athletic director for compliance at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Nesfield received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
