Of course, this came after she and the Democratic Party bludgeoned Biden to his political death. But Biden’s brutal beatdown notwithstanding, Democrats gave America a young and vibrant new candidate. So what Harris was actually a retread of a candidate soundly defeated years earlier, and by most standards was declared “the worst VP in modern history”. The new narrative was that Kamala would bring joy. Part of the strategy was to introduce Harris as a round the way girl or the girl next door. She was no different than any woman in America, just trying to break through that glass ceiling. So what she was born to an Indian mother and a Jamaican father and raised in Canada?
