Malekah Salim-Morgan is the new dean of undergraduate studies at Reach University, Oakland, boasting over 25 years in Louisiana's K-12 system. Previously deputy assistant superintendent, she holds degrees from Grambling State and LSU Shreveport, and is pursuing a doctorate at Baylor University.
Cordelia Nnedu has been appointed dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Tuskegee University. With over 30 years at Tuskegee, her research emphasizes retention of students of color. She earned her bachelor’s from the University of Northern Colorado, her master’s from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and her Ph.D. from Auburn University.
