SACRAMENTO (US Media Group) — A sweeping two-day operation led by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of more than 100 individuals involved in human trafficking and prostitution, while also rescuing two juveniles from the sex trade.Dubbed Operation FAFO, the sting was part of a coordinated effort by law enforcement agencies to combat the growing issue of human trafficking and exploitation within Sacramento County. During the operation, undercover officers posed as both buyers and sellers to identify and apprehend those engaged in illegal activities. The crackdown primarily focused on individuals exploiting vulnerable people for commercial sex, with a heightened emphasis on safeguarding minors caught in the web of prostitution.
