Ugandan chef Mama D aims to break the Guiness World Record for longest Cooking Marathon

Mama D, a Ugandan chef is currently engaged in a cooking marathon to surpass the existing Guinness World Record for the longest cooking session by an individual.  Real names Dorcus Bashema Kirabo of Mama D’s Keychen, commenced her cooking journey on Saturday 23rd December 2023 in Kira to break the current record held by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who cooked for an impressive 119 hours and 57 minutes. Alan Fisher took over the record from Nigeria’s chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, who cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes. Mama D expressed her intention to cook for a duration of 121 hours or more, with the aim of surpassing the existing Cookathon record and set her own record.  Mama D has received enormous support from Ugandans who have gone to Kira to witness her accomplishment and others have taken to social media to expose her to the world.& At the time of this publication, she had surpassed 28 hours of cooking and is still going strong.& We wish her all the best.& The post Ugandan chef Mama D aims to break the Guiness World Record for longest Cooking Marathon  appeared first on BigEye.UG.
