Kamau Bell,” which premiered Nov. 8 at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis. It was Bell’s first show in five years, and it couldn’t have come at a more suitable time, just days after the 2024 presidential election.Bell didn’t hold back, diving immediately into fresh political material about the election’s outcome, America’s obsession with nepo-babies, and the contradictions within California’s progressive reputation, among other topics.The night began with an opening set from Bay Area comedian Nato Green, whose political humor set the stage for Bell.
