The Salvation Army and Walner Law are teaming up this weekend to bring holiday spirit to Englewood with their annual Turkey Giveaway. On Saturday, November 16, the event will run from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Salvation Army’s Adele and Robert Stern Red Shield Center, located at 945 W. 69th Street. The Turkey Giveaway will provide 500 turkeys on a first-come, first-served basis, with one turkey per household. No ID is needed, so residents can simply show up and join in.
