Grow A Heart Cowards

Congressional members have returned to Washington, with numerous Democrats remaining passive in the face of injustice and many Republicans currying favor with their controversial leader. Amid this chaos, citizens are suffering; while Democrats express minimal opposition to oligarchal dominance, Republicans obediently comply, leaving workers grappling with surging prices and economic instability.Bipartisanship is indeed possible for Congress when it aligns with their interests. For instance, Reps. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., and Ro Khanna, D-Calif., recently held a press conference addressing the victims exploited by Jeffrey Epstein. Even Marjorie Taylor Greene, usually a staunch Trump ally, supported Epstein's victims. This raises questions about how they can collaborate on issues while partisanship exacerbates poverty and health disparities. Ultimately, Congress holds essential authority but consistently forfeits it, allowing the president to circumvent the law. As the Cowards of Congress return, one must ask: what will they prioritize?
