In a thrilling opener of the West Indies Rising Stars Men’s Under-17 50-Over Championship, the Windward Islands narrowly lost to Jamaica by four runs. The match took place at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. Led by captain Theo Edward, who scored 36 runs, Windward Islands faced a challenging task after Jamaica posted 217-9.
