The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame (WBHOF) officially revealed its Class of 2025 on Nov. 15, honoring seven individuals making a significant impact on the sport.
This year’s inductees include four accomplished players, two legendary coaches and a leading contributor who has advocated for the growth of the game.&
WBHOF President Dana Hart shared her thoughts on the Class of 2025.&
“We are honored to pay tribute to seven distinguished legends of this exceptional sport,” Hart said in a statement. “They exemplify the highest standards in women’s basketball and have made substantial contributions to the sport along with shaping the game’s historical trajectory.”&
The 2025 class features four esteemed players: Alana Beard, Sue Bird, Sylvia Fowles and Cappie Pondexter. The latter finished her career with the Indiana Fever in 2018.&
