Yvette Nicole Brown Marries For First Time At 53: ‘Never Too Late’

The nuptials marked Brown’s first marriage and Davis’ second. Brown said she hopes her wedding can serve as an “inspirational moment” for those still looking for love. “I’m not someone who really likes a lot of attention, and I realized there’s a way that I could have a wedding where I made it more about other people, in the sense that because I am of a certain age and I never thought it would happen for me, my wedding can be an inspirational moment,” Brown told PEOPLE. The 53-year-old actress recalled crying when she had to wear a wedding dress for an episode of the Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh. “This may be the only time I’m in a wedding dress,” Brown recalled thinking.
