£100,000 secured to bring a new street art trail to Ipswich

Ipswich Central, in association with Art Eat Events and The Subversiv Collectiv have secured £100,000 in funding from the Arts Council.
The fund will be used to deliver a programme of creative urban art projects with young people in Ipswich this year.
The ‘Wild Walls project’ will see them bring people between the ages of 14 and 30 to work with established artists and produce new murals, as well as public art interventions, around the town.
Once completed, the new trail will be open for the public to visit.
Additionally, there will also be virtual reality workshops and an exhibition for visitors to experience at the University of Suffolk, a print fair, cinema screenings, live art workshops and music events as part of the programme.
