11 Rushed To Hospital After Physical Assault, Road Accident

The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) transported eleven people to medical facilities after responding to a physical assault and two road accidents. On Tuesday at Odsan, SLFS emergency personnel found an adult male lying on the ground in a pool of blood. The patient reported having been involved in a physical altercation, resulting in multiple lacerations to his body. The emergency personnel treated him before transporting him to a medical facility for further medical attention. The SLFS also responded on Tuesday after learning of a vehicle collision at Marisule. A minibus ran into a pole, injuring six individuals, all of whom the emergency personnel treated before transporting them to a medical facility. And on Wednesday, emergency responders transported four people to a medical facility after a vehicle incident at Desrameaux. A fifth individual declined emergency transportation.
