Indianapolis’ cherished night of music and philanthropy, Tonic Ball, is set to return this fall. Over the past 24 years, Tonic Ball has emerged as a cornerstone of the city's vibrant creative landscape, uniting musicians, fans, and volunteers with the shared goal of combating hunger through the unifying force of music. This year, presented by Eskenazi Health, the 24th annual Tonic Ball will take place in Fountain Square on November 21. “Tonic Ball transcends being merely a one-night music festival,” stated Joseph Ball, chair of the Tonic Ball Committee. “This event fosters community through music, amplifying the impactful mission of Second Helpings in their battle against hunger.” Initially a single-venue tribute performance, Tonic Ball has evolved into a multi-stage festival boasting numerous artists and drawing thousands, all while generating essential funding for Second Helpings, a nonprofit focused on food rescue and culinary job training. This year's lineup showcases tribute acts across various local venues, including tributes to Marvin Gaye, Britney Spears, B-52s, and Green Day. Tickets are currently available, and updates can be found at tonicball.org.
